Vistella: The Stars of Your World is a linear fantasy slice-of-life romance featuring some psychological and horror elements.
Follow the footsteps of Antonio Nhật, an ordinary 26-year-old photographer who unwittingly gets dragged into another world after a botched attempt at taking his own life. He must then explore his new surroundings, survive with the help of its denizens, and find a way to face his past, present and future.

I have to say I quite like the story so far built up. It almost feels like an inversion (or subversion?) of the classical "Human ends up in a furry world by accident" trope. I could describe more about it but that's how I feel about it, and it feels like a breath of fresh air to get dialogues and interactions that are different from the usual panicked reactions for like the first 1 or 2 ingame weeks lol. Also a main character with actual personality, name, and background is something I will never ever say no to.
What can I say, you got me, I'm intrigued on seeing more of it :)
Ok, I just finished the part that changes who's perspective we're seeing/reading from to Darius.
I must give kudos 👏💐👌 to whoever created Tony's character design. An MC that's a dude, a dude who shrugged off convention even if just a bit. Doing so by finding out if he'd look good, or probably better with long hair, and whether he liked it as well. So few men are willing to even try it once, just to know. Not that I want it to become common. There's just some guys you see now and then, who you can tell would look as good or better if they tried it (you see even more if you already have long hair😉).
Anyway, it's just nice to see I'm not the only one who prefers it both on, a potential BF as well as my own as well. Preferred to the point that mine is just over halfway between my knees and ankles. Took me 15yrs, I'm just chose to allow it to choose the length it ends up at, rather than me making that choice. Though, it hasn't slowed down and I'm starting to worry about what to do if it doesn't soon 😕 🤔. I can't give up now, I have too much time invested in it. I also have waaaay too much love for it, which only increased exponentially the longer it got. Especially when it passed milestones, milestones such as when it reached my shoulders, waist, knees and the next will be ankles. But, it's also the main reason I am and have always been single so, maybe......🤔😶🌫️🫥😬

So, you're suddenly in a world of anthropomorphic animals. And the first question isn't, is being gay a thing and if so, are either of you DTF‽¿¡ C'mon, it would be either that, or you'd be freaking the fuck out, not being all cordial and polite. You've just experienced something that's beyond human comprehension, and you're not a weeee bit concerned or curious of the, who, what, when, where and why's?
Liked the latest build. Despite the exhaustive list of heavy themes being cautioned, so far the story is kinda warm and feel-good. Probably mostly thanks to a particular central character :)

Only thing holding it back is the lack of polish in the script, needs a good proofread to iron out the grammar mistakes, typos and odd-phrasings.

i liked it quite a lot. Love themes, love both characters, and atmosphere surprisingly cozy and welcoming despite dark themes. Protagonist has an actual backstory and history which isn’t often seen in furry x human visual novels, though, i like that trend is changing now. Also music is top tier

I like it so far, though amount of disclaimers is a bit alarming. Is it really necessary to tackle so many heavy subjects at once? I think trying to overcome depression and suicidal attempt would have been enough to make the story compelling

That's a completely valid concern, so I’d like to clarify a bit. The story of TSYW is a rather lengthy and roundabout one. As much as it is about our main duo and their relationship, it’s also about the world of Vistella, its people, and their struggles.
The content warning list isn’t meant to suggest that every topic mentioned will happen, or has happened, directly to our protagonists. Instead, it’s there to acknowledge that these issues do exist within the world and affect the characters, so readers can be mentally prepared for when they appear.

Just finished reading, and it's really nice story so far. Looking forward for more updates in the future!!
The game is well put together and the art is nice. The grammar is iffy at points but that doesn't take away from the game. Over all it's very lovely and I'm excited to see where the story goes. It is also fun to see something new and of high quality, as good VN's are few and far between.

So, it's a dream/coma story where the MC has to help or solve something in an anthro alternate universe his mind made up while he's unconscious?
That is certainly one way of interpreting the story thus far. If you stick around, maybe we'll find out if your interpretation is accurate or not.
I'd just prefer ones that aren't the stereotypical storyline. The, dream/coma, the accidental transportation, the "omnipotent/omnipresent being that treats your life and experiences as a game or an experiment of some kind, ala Adastra or Far Beyond," the race to get back to your home/reality, OH, can't forget the Amnesia trope. They've all been done to death.
just finished reading this and wow! What a great introduction! The pacing, characters, music choices, CGs, and transitions were all executed well! I was able to feel the immense emotions behind certain scenes within my heart. I love the softness of the CGs too, it was really nice touch for the MC. Keep up the good work, I can wait to see where the story will lead! 😄😁
